Learning and doing alongside our children is what we love. However, weappreciate this can sometimes be hard at times so we're learningalongside each other at a community level. Come join Earth School Aotearoa for our seasonal community herbalism workshop. Bring the kids for no extra cost (adult ones too). These are grassroots, barefoot , children running around events where there's extraeyes and support to be able to learn and make what you need for yourhome based seasonal wellness remedies. There are experienced tutorsthere able to help, with their own children in attendance. If you haveever wanted to take more control of your remedies and are not able toafford the prices of some or generally just want to learn alongsideothers in a more relaxed environment then this is made for you. This season is about warming! It is cold and we need to stay warm. Inthis workshop you will learn about a range of wild and cultivatedmedicinal herbs with antiviral and antimicrobial properties to boostimmunity for the coming winter months. You will also create a uniqueherbal winter tea, a foot soak and an inhalation blend. These are thethree remedies we will be focusing on and why they’re go to's. Alongwith other common kitchen ingredients. Ticket prices include the cost of ingredients but not vessels/jars.You will need to source and bring them yourself. More information willbe emailed. Places are limited as we need to source ingredients inadvance so sign up and bring the family (newborn or old). You are welcome to stay longer/for the whole session. BYO lunch. This is a modality that utilizes your own breath to help shed the layers of yourself that no longer serve, making room for you to call in what will help facilitate change within your life. Somatic Breathwork™ uses a consciously connected breath pattern to help you tap into your body's innate inner intelligence and find the areas that need clearing. Coupling the breath with immersive music may result in different forms of cathartic emotional releases such as laughing, moving, crying, yelling, and shaking. All forms of expression are encouraged as it allows the body to move any pent up energy and create space for the second half of the breathwork journey. A gentler breathing technique is used in the second half of the session to help you connect with who you truly are. Together we can use the breath to call in how you want to show up in the world, the changes you want to make, and allow you to see clearly what it would be like to live your best life. Join Mangaroa Farms for Foraging with Earth School Aotearoa Explore the taonga of our local environment with this family-friendly wild forage walk. Timed perfectly with the late autumn/winter season, we'll discover medicinal and edible plants growing right under our noses. We believe learning alongside our tamariki is precious, which is why this walk is priced per family, not per person. Bring your whole whānau - the walk is pram friendly and will take about an hour. Come and sit around the fire with good men under April's full moon for our Men's Circle. A space for men to speak freely, listen deeply, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood. BROS is an organisation focused on the holistic wellbeing of men in Aotearoa and beyond. Their core mission is to bring more men around more fires, through in-person and online transformational experiences in brotherhood.
